I love trying new products for my skin. Give me a new cleanser, toner, moisturizer, mask, exfoliator, eye mask, eye cream, you name it. I’m actually a little OCD about my skincare routine. I remove my makeup, wash my face, and moisturize every single night. I can’t even think of a time when I went to sleep without washing my face, because I know I wouldn’t be able to fall asleep. Chris and I want to go camping soon, and my biggest concern is how I’m going to wash my face (any tips?). I’m not as strict about my skin routine in the morning, but even then there’s probably only one morning per month when I don’t wash my face.
I’m not telling you this to brag about how self disciplined I am (because trust me, I’m way less disciplined in other areas of my life), but to show you how much I care about the skin care products I use.
For so many years, I was just using whatever face wash, toner, and moisturizer looked best in the store. Then I started hearing about all the chemicals that go into drug store products and thought, “what’s the point of all these routines if my products are actually harming my skin?”
That’s when I found Natura Culina, and let me tell you, it changed the game for my skin care.
It all started when I kept seeing one of my favorite Instagram bloggers talk about this 100% natural skin care brand. I was curious about it, so I decided to put the Rose’berry Face Mask and Rose Face Oil on my Christmas list just to try it out. Then my sweet husband got them for me! I was so excited, and it also came with a free sample of the Rose Facial Mist. Every package I’ve ordered from Natura Culina has come with a free sample, and I love that (also, good business play on their part)!
So how was it, you ask?
At first, I was apprehensive about putting oil directly on my face. I’ve always thought I had oily skin, but I’ve recently discovered that it was only producing excess oil because I was keeping it too dry (such a bad cycle!). I gave it a shot and followed up my cleanser and the facial mist with the oil, and it was amazing! My skin felt super soft and smooth.
The mask also felt really good on my skin. It almost has a warming sensation, and if you rub it in a little before rinsing it off, it just feels like you’re rubbing nutrients right into your face. So good. I use this mask about once a week now!
I was officially hooked.
After getting hooked on the mask, mist, and oil, I wanted the whole facial set. I ordered the Anti-Aging Skin Care Set (did you know your skin begins to age at 21 years old?!). I picked this one because I was already using most of the set and wanted to try the cleanser. I read that this set can sometimes cause redness or irritation for sensitive skin, and I started experiencing that a little bit.
That’s what led me to also buy the Chamomile Set Sampler. This formula is designed for people with more dry and sensitive skin, so I thought it may work well alongside my Anti-Aging set. I started using Chamomile in the morning and Anti-Aging at night, and I quickly realized it’s the perfect regimen for my skin!
I love Natura Culina’s sample sets, because they allow you to use the product long enough to see how it works for your skin. My chamomile set lasted me 3 months when used once a day!
That may be a little dramatic, but I really do feel so much more confident in my own skin (pun intended). I often go without foundation when I probably wouldn’t have done that before. I never have breakouts except for maybe a tiny spot once a month. My skin wasn’t that bad before, but I’ve still seen such an improvement in the overall texture and complexion of my skin! I experience way less redness and irritation, and even when I do have a breakout, it’s gone within a few days.
Side note: If you do experience a lot of breakouts, their Botanical Set is designed for acne-prone skin. I have seen so many transformation posts, and they look amazing!
Here’s the bottom line: if you’re unhappy with your current skin care products or want to transition to all-natural products, give Natura Culina a try. I randomly decided to try it, and now I may never go back. It’s worth the investment!
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Natural Culina at all (ha, I wish!). I just really love and believe in their products!
